Connecting Faith, Families and Schools Conference- 2014
Connecticut has launched a campaign to reduce chronic absenteeism by keeping students "IN SCHOOL AND ENGAGED." It began with the fifth "Connecting Faith, Families & Schools for Student Success" conference, held October 23, 2014 at Wesleyan University. The State Education Resource Center (SERC) and the CT Parent Information and Resource Center (CT PIRC), which is operated by SERC, bestows these awards to Connecticut parents who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their schools and communities.
